The Papa Hart Pickle Tradition Lives On!! Papa Hart was born November 17, 1924 Papa and his son Con, owned and operated Plain View Winery in Lahoma, Oklahoma. Papa wanted to develop a product that would bring new customers into his Winery, so in 2004 he decided to sell pickles made from his family recipe. These unique pickles are a blend of the flavors of dill and sweet pickles, with some added heat. 

By 2006, the pickles had become such a success from word of mouth and many tastings, pickle lovers not only went to the winery to get their much loved pickles, they started ordering them and had the pickles delivered to them.

By 2009, they started selling the pickles in Missouri and added the much loved "Katie Marie Candied Jalapenos ". By this time their products have been in over 20 retailers across the states and they attended numerous festivals each year. 

"The Tradition Continues" 

The family tradition has continued to live on thanks to Bill and Kay Goddard (Papa's Daughter). They have stood firm 
continuing with the original recipes, not allowing any changes to what has made 
these pickles "The Best Pickles You've Ever Tasted". 

BUT WAIT THERE'S MORE 

During the year 2010 Michelle Schnapp discovered Papa Harts Pickles at the Hermann Maifest and absolutely fell in love! She continued buying these pickles for years. During the year 2018 Michelle discovered Tim Schnapp, and you guessed it, absolutely fell in love again! We, Tim and Michelle Schnapp, have been selling these pickles at our local farmers market for years now with an incredible following. It seemed we couldn't keep them in stock. Upon several trips to get pickles and visiting the Goddards, and hearing them threaten to retire, Michelle made it 
abundantly clear that we were very interested in keeping this business going. The world clearly needs Papa Harts! At the time the Goddard's finally decided and announced their plan to retire and discontinue processing pickles, they received over seventy inquiries from others to purchase the recipes and or the company. Michelle reached out to the Goddards and voiced our interest, the very simple reply we received was priceless. The reply she got was " We need to talk". After a few visits and good conversation, it was decided that we, Tim and Michelle Schnapp would be the new owners of the Papa Harts Pickle Company. 

It is truly an honor to be the owners of such a wonderful product that everyone loves!!
